Water Issues: When to Drink Hot and Cold Water

What are the health benefits of drinking hot or cold water?

In general cold water tends to be more easily absorbed than hot, so it might be a better choice when you are working out. Mind you, I mean relatively cold compared to room temperature and not ice cold. On the other hand warm water is known to be better for detox. But then again if you have enough clean water then your body will detox well enough.

There are many myths supporting the use of hot or cold water in different situations but scientific evidence does not indicate any such benefit.
