Cosmetics:

It may be a rare case, but cosmetics can cause acne. Back in the day when cosmetics were still experimenting with chemicals, there were reports that make-up aggravated acne. Since then the cosmetic industry has come a long way and cases of make-up causing acne are rare.

However, cosmetic overuse and inappropriate use may still cause acne if one isn't careful. For instance, cosmetics that are very outdated are prone to becoming contaminated. Therefore, keep those brushes clean, and those lipsticks and foundations fresh. If it's been with you for a decade, perhaps it's time to change it.
