Anuj is not alone. Many husbands share his hidden desire to get their wives to look younger and sexier, and they are willing to spend lavishly to make that happen. Today's society seems to have no room for how pregnancy and motherhood changes, and takes a toll on, a woman's body.

Flat stomachs are replaced by stretch marks and flabby skin. Breasts, which were earlier firm now become either saggy or undergo volume loss. Different types of correctional procedures are available for women in this age bracket, who opt to go under the knife rather than rely on a balanced diet and exercise to fight premature ageing.

The procedures can be both surgical as well as non-surgical and can be done on multiple parts of the body. The most common treatment is the breast sagging surgery. The breasts of a woman after pregnancy either become saggy or lose volume. The skin around the stomach, abdomen or thigh becomes loose during pregnancy resulting in stretch marks. Tummy tucks for loose skin around stomach, liposuction for the flabby thigh skin and abdomino-plasty to tighten the muscle and skin around the abdomen are the other most commonly treatments opted for.

Face lifts

These makeover treatments also focus on fighting early wrinkles, dull skin and pigmentation, caused due to high levels of estrogen in the body during pregnancy. This mostly occurs in a butterfly pattern around the eyes and cheeks. Treatments employing lasers and peels also help sun and age spots, which may also appear. 

Another popular treatment is vagino-plasty, in which the skin and muscles in the vaginal area are tightened.

These treatments range from 1.5 lakh to 4 lakh and depends on the extent of the surgery. Interestingly, the increasing demand for these procedures is making them more affordable.

It is important to note that if a woman focuses on fitness through correct and healthy diet and exercise before and during pregnancy, she will retain her pre-pregnancy looks. In fact, many times, pregnancy actually helps some women get better skin and hormonal balance.
