When a skinny teenager takes down his weight's equivalent in cheeseburgers every day, we usually attribute his weight management miracle to fast metabolism. Then we hear all sorts of half-truths and tips about how we can fasten our metabolism to speed up weight loss. While some pratcises are true enough, in conjunction with other lifestyle habits, some others are not. Increasing metabolism, or rather - making your body's metabolic rate work in favour of weight management efforts, is a combination of diet and exercise.
