Complex carbohydrates (aka Good Carbs) are foods that are mostly consumed the closest to, if not entirely, in their natural state. Other than fiber, good carb foods are also rich in vitamins, minerals and nutrients. They have low glycemic index levels, which helps in regulating blood sugar levels and insulin production.
