Diwali should be a time for fun and festivities and not for fear and anxiety about healthy choices. You should not have to forfeit your favourite festive food because of weight and health concerns. However, if you are more than five kilos overweight, you do need to be concerned about not putting on excess weight over this Diwali season. And when there's a long holiday weekend sandwiched between even more festivities, the concern could be valid.
