10 Best Oats Recipes for Indian Dishes

Oatmeal banana bread.

Ingredients
.1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 tablespoon  salt, 1/2 tablespoon baking soda, 1/4 tablespoon baking powder, 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon, 3 tablespoon canola or walnut  oil, 1 large egg, beaten, 2 medium egg whites, beaten, 3 large bananas, ripe and 1 cup uncooked old fashioned oats.


Method. Preheat oven to 350°F.  Take a loaf pan, grease it and keep it aside. Now take a large bowl and stir in all the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, mash bananas using a potato masher. Add whole eggs and oil to bananas and mix thoroughly. Now take yet another bowl and beat the eggs whites nicely using an electric hand mixer. 


Mix all the dry and wet ingredients. Pour the batter into the loaf pan, bake it for 40 to 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let it cool for another 10 minutes. Your oatmeal, banana bread is ready.
