What is Cholesterol?


Cholesterol is the fat that circulates in the blood. The body needs cholesterol since it builds body cells and it is a fatty soft waxy substance resembling hardend grease. Cholesterol is not bad for the body; it plays an important role in making sex hormones and hormones involved in reacting to stress. However high cholesterol can clog arteries resulting in heart attack or stroke.
