Medicine balls are easy to store, and highly flexible so you can do a number of workouts for various body parts with them. You can do these workouts in a pinch, for lack of time, if you can’t leave home, or just because you enjoy using a medicine ball. Perfect for weekend exercises!
Hip flexors -Stand with the medicine ball between your feet. Squat down and squeeze the ball with your feet. Explode upwards from a squat jump, flinging the ball into the air with your feet. Catch the ball with your hands and return to starting position.
Squat with trunk twist – Hold the medicine ball in your hands. Squat down and bring the ball down diagonally on one side and take it up again and stand, repeat. Its almost like you are using a hammer to chop something. Have a look at this video. The action is the same as in the video, but you can do it just as well if you don’t have a partner working out with you. Do 30 seconds on one side and then switch sides.
