Dehydration takes place when one loses more fluids in the body than one takes in. It is essential to handle dehydration by replacing lost fluids else one might experience uncomfortable and, in some extreme cases, even life-threatening symptoms. It is generally seen that one can reverse mild to moderate dehydration by drinking enough amounts of liquids, but severe dehydration calls for immediate medical requirement.
