Polycystic ovary syndrome:

Closely linked to hormonal imbalances, the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome or PCOS is becoming alarmingly common in today's women. Its rapid increase in today's times is linked to heightened hormonal disorders due to stress, poor lifestyle habits, weight gain, etc.

PCOS is also linked to possible fall-outs such as weight gain, infertility and excessive facial hair. These effects vary from woman to woman. PCOS is a cause of acne and a silent problem among women.

If you're over 20 and still face bad acne, especially around the time of menstruation and if your menstruation cycles are erratic, then you must get yourself checked for PCOS.
