Skin Care: How Retinol Products Affect Wrinkles

How does retinol fight premature wrinkles?

A) "It’s a Vitamin A analogue that increases the skin turnover by reducing the time of skin cycle. The dead skin is removed quickly and the skin is delicate, this further increases the turnover of existing pigment cells leading to lightening of skin. It also acts on skin cells (mitochondria and DNA) leading to dermal re-modelling and preventing premature wrinkling."
