Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a term used to describe the accumulation of fat in the liver of people who drink little or no alcohol. With an increase in the incidence of Type 2 diabetes, obesity and insulin resistance in India over the last two decades, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is expected to be on the rise.
