Raj is extremely hyperactive and difficult to control. His mother is unable to cope up with his motor-like activity and feels frustrated on a daily basis. He was put in a play group and after one month the school politely refused to let him continue as he was disorderly and disrupting the entire class. You might call him naughty, but children like Raj swing on a pendulum of extreme behavior which also affects their learning and play. Such children belong to the autism spectrum disorder, an ailment which is not so uncommon anymore.
