Karvachauth Fast: Dos and Don'ts for Women
Karvachauth is a festival to celebrate love and bonding and is observed by a large number of women in our country. On this day the wives fast for the whole day from sunrise to sunset, praying to the Lord for the longevity of their husband’s life. It is indeed a very tough day and may have damaging repercussions if not done smartly.
While fasting once in a while is a great idea to help your digestive system function more efficiently, it also is very tough on the energy systems of the body and if not taken care of in the right way, can have serious detrimental effects on the working of the body.
