What causes this excessive sweating? Causes of excessive sweating may vary based on functional, emotional, social and psychological factors. It appears because a part of the sympathetic nervous system, an autonomous part of the nervous system, leads to an increase in heart rate, anxiety level, blood pressure and so on, and thus the sweating. Commonly, it affects the hands, feet and armpits.
