Reframe and change your stories of your past. Take a few minutes and list 50 of your accomplishments, you can do this chronologically and make sure you get to 50. Another fabulous exercise is one I share with my clients and people who attend my workshops, is to write the “remix” version of your sad stories from the point of view of “what was great about it.” This helps you see your past from a more inspiring and accepting viewpoint which will change the way you view your own abilities and choices gaining you instant efficacy. You will change the way you feel about yourself and your past, just like the way an old song can sound so different when a DJ spins a remix version of it.
