Identifying, Treating and Dealing with Spot Baldness

Spot baldness or patchy areas of hair loss is quite a common problem. This is also called "alopecia areata". It usually appears as coin shaped patches of hair loss; sometimes the patches may be oval in shape. It is most commonly seen on the scalp but may also be seen in the beard area, eyebrows, eyelashes or any part of the body.
