Health Hazards of Smoking During Pregnancy

The nicotine from cigarette smoke can lead to a number of deformities and health conditions in the new born – not to mention the increasing incidence of still births and pregnancy complications. Although the Indian government has taken vital steps to curb this dangerous lifestyle epidemic, the percentage of pregnant women using tobacco and cigarette continues to rise.
