What is the other protein substitute for chicken, beef and pork? Yes, it is fish. Seafood is a good source for proteins. The added bonus to consuming fish is that the creatures of the deep sea, and of course rivers, are low in saturated fats. You don’t have to worry about avoiding it as with pork, beef and chicken. It is lean ‘meat’ all the way to the bone.
