#5 Cause of Shoulder Pain Explained. Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis)

Medically known as adhesive capsulitis, frozen shoulder is usually caused by an injury. If you suffer from the progression of Rheumatic disease or a recent shoulder surgery, then it might be a cause of frozen shoulder. People with diabetes, stroke, lung disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and heart disease, or those who have been in an accident, are at a higher risk for frozen shoulder. People with frozen shoulder find it very difficult to perform simple movements, such as raising the arm.
