Anyone who has access to social media today has certainly heard about the ice bucket challenge. There are numerous videos of celebrities, famous people and regular people dumping buckets of icy water over their heads.
This may seem like a ridiculous thing to do but the motive behind it is to spread awareness about Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Apart from this, the ice bucket challenge also encourages donations for the ALS Association that is researching the disease.
