The common perception is that men and women with bulky arms have a tough time maneuvering their limbs and this makes them slow due to the muscle mass.
Arnav debunks this much overdone and ancient myth, “Once during the Olympic games a flexibility test was done and it was found that the weightlifters were the second most flexible athletes after the gymnasts. And as one would know that the Olympics involves almost all the sports that you can think of, so that is a very impressive list to be second in. Anyways the bottom line is that weight training will not make you slow or inflexible. Lack of stretching and doing your exercises too slowly will make you slow. Always try to move as fast as possible during the positive part of a lift to be fast.”
