#1 Myth about weight training: Weight training equals bulking up. Do people who exercise extensively with weights get the beefy look?

Fact about weight training:
Listen up! This is what really happens when you weight train - “Weight training PLUS eating big equals to bulking up, and weight training PLUS eating less equals to leaning down. The thing is that weight training is a way to boost your metabolism, and it is the food that you eat that is converted to muscle and/or fat. If you eat in excess, then the excess will result in increased weight in the form of muscle or fat. And if you lift weights and do not overeat then you will lean down,” says Arnav.

  • Weight training equals bulking up.
  • Lifting light weights will not give you the bulky image.
  • There is a difference in weight training for men and women.
  • Muscle turns to fat if you stop lifting weights
  • Weight lifting makes you slow and inflexible
