Simple carbs should be avoided. Food items, such as sugar, white flour and caffeine can lead to a temporary surge of energy followed by a crash. Fibromyalgia patients generally tend to experience hypersensitivity and thus should stay away from experiencing a sudden hike and low in their blood sugar levels. It is generally seen that people with fibromyalgia can suffer from hypoglycemia, a condition of extreme low blood sugar level in the body. This means that after consuming simple carbs your body might have a craving for sugary and starchy foods, or you might suffer from depression, fatigue, headaches and mood swings and should be completely avoided.
