How can one steer clear of eye infections when applying make-up in the monsoon?

In order to avoid eye infections, not only during the monsoon but throughout the year, one should not compromise on the quality of eye make-up products. For personal use, smaller packs should be purchased so that they are consumed at the earliest to avoid bacterial growth due to long storage. Sharing of eye make-up products, particularly their applicators should be discouraged. During monsoon, water-proof eye make-up should be used and before going to bed, one must remove the eye make-up with the help of good quality eye make-up removers. In case of any eye infection, don’t use any eye make-up.
