How to Make Masala Chaas or Spiced Buttermilk

When she was getting married, she was told - 'a way to man's heart is through his stomach', but she felt it is important to keep his heart healthy too; thus she likes to eat right and choose the healthy substitutes. Apart from cooking, she loves to travel and try out different cuisines with her partner.
Most summer coolers are loaded with sugar, but you can try this sugar-free recipe. Masala chaas can be used to ease an irritated stomach. Packed with electrolytes and water, chaas is the best thing you can give your body to fight dehydration. .
- 1 cup yogurt/dahi
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 teaspoon ginger juice/adrak
- 1 green chilli deseeded
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder/bhuna jeera
- Black salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat massala
- 1 teaspoon dried mint leaves/sukha pudhina
Mix everything together until it is frothy.
Serve in glasses.
If you don’t have dried mint leaves, use fresh mint instead. Just used 4-5 crushed mint leaves.
Green chilli is optional.
