Quick Healthy Salad: Nutty Sprouts Salad Recipe
Spice up your lunch with carrots, sprouts, almonds and walnuts for healthy skin and a healthy you. Pallavi Srivastava, Fitness Nutritionist and Founder of Q-Slim Fitness Studio shares this recipe, which is rich in various vitamins and minerals and promises to enhance the skin, strengthen hair and improve eyesight.
- 1 cup grated carrots
- ½ cup sprouts
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp finely chopped almonds
- 1 tbsp of cut walnuts
- 1 tsp of mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp of chopped mint leaves
- 1 tbsp of finely chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp of oil
- Salt and pepper to taste.
In a pan, heat 1 tsp of oil, add the mustard seeds until golden brown toss the carrots and sprouts for a minute and stir fry. Place this in a bowl. Then add sugar, coriander, and mint leaves, cut almonds, cut walnuts, lemon juice, salt and pepper and mix well. The crunchy salad is ready.
