According to various studies, the colour blue is considered to be peaceful and calming. Food is blue in colour because of its richness in health-boosting phytochemicals known as anthocyanins and resveratrol.

1. Anthocyanins


This antioxidant possesses great anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic property. It helps in lowering the risk of cardiovascular diseases, obesity and diabetes.

 

2. Resveratrol


This antioxidant has anti-ageing and disease preventing properties. It is very good for heart health, because it helps to reduce inflammation and bad cholesterol. Besides, it also helps to prevent cancer and Alzheimer’s.
