Using hair conditioner is an essential step in any haircare routine. Conditioning helps the hair retain moisture, smoothens hair cuticles and also helps keep the hair shiny and lustrous. Now that you know the importance of  hair conditioner, you don’t have to worry about buying an expensive hair conditioner for your hair. Instead, try these easy to make homemade hair conditioners for silky, healthy hair.

Honey hair conditioner

Ingredients
3 tbsp honey
6 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions
Stir together the honey and coconut oil and apply this on your hair. Cover your hair with a shower cap and allow it to stay on for about 30 minutes. This will allow the honey  to melt and spread to all your strands, thereby nourishing them better. Shampoo and rinse your hair thoroughly after this.

Egg conditioner

Ingredients
1 egg
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp honey

Instructions
Mix together the egg, olive oil and honey and apply it on your hair. Now cover your hair with a shower cap and leave it on for about 30 minutes. Once you’re done, rinse the conditioner off with cool water.

Milk and banana conditioner

Ingredients
1 cup of milk
1 banana
1 tsp coconut oil

Instruction
Mix the banana and milk to make a smooth paste. Add the coconut oil to this mixture and blend this well. Now, wet your hair with some lukewarm water and apply this paste on your hair. After this, cover your hair with a shower cap and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse if off with cold water when you’re done.
