Homemade Body Scrubs for Monsoon
If you’re hoping for the monsoon to be some sort of a relief after those summer induced skin problems, think again. Monsoon brings with it humidity and moisture which leads to a whole new bunch of skin conditions.
Mix together half a cup of oatmeal with half a cup of yogurt and then add a few drops of vitamin E oil to it. Mix them all together and use it to scrub your body.
Brown sugar scrub
Mix together brown sugar and olive oil till it form a thick granular paste. Now use it to scrub your body thoroughly.
Mix together lemon juice, honey and a spoon of sugar to make an exfoliating body scrub.
Mash together a few pieces of papaya and mix a spoon of brown sugar to it, along with another spoon of coarse oatmeal. Use this scrub on your face and body to cleanse your pores.
Note: Ensure that you don’t exfoliate more than two times a week. Also remember to scrub only for two minutes as excessive scrubbing can irritate your skin. And most of all make sure that you moisturise your skin well after scrubbing.
