Yogurt is no doubt a healthy snack to gorge on but it can get awfully boring when you opt for regular flavourless yogurt every time. To keep your favourite snack interesting, we give you a few healthy toppings to add that extra oomph to your yogurt.
Fruits will give yogurt a boost of antioxidant and natural flavouring. Try fruits like berries bananas or even mangoes to give your taste buds a delightful twist.
Nut like almonds and walnuts can be an amazing add-on to plain yogurt. Not only will they give it a good crunch and improve its taste but it will also infuse a healthy mix of nutrients. Apart from that nuts are known for their energy boosting properties that will help keep you satiated and energetic for longer.
This spice will give your yogurt a rich sweet flavour. It will also add to your yogurt all the health benefits of cinnamon.
Instead of adding sugary chocolate to your yogurt, opt for cacao nibs instead. This raw chocolate has no added sugar and is very healthy. Cocoa nibs will lend to your yogurt its rich coco flavour.
