Foods, which are yellow in colour, are loaded with various vitamins and nutrients. Besides, they are also loaded with carotenoids.

1. Carotenoids:


These carotenes help to protect us against a wide range of diseases like heart diseases and cancer. Their antioxidant property helps to protect the lines of the arteries from the damage caused by free radicals. They also help in preventing vision loss, caused by age-related macular degeneration of the eye.

 

2. Vitamin C


Besides, they are also rich in vitamin C, which helps in reducing inflammation and prevents occurrence of allergies. 

 

3. Bioflavins


They also include bioflavins, which help to strengthen the collagen of our skin, tendons, ligaments and cartilages.
