We all struggle with anxiety at several points in our lives. With the kind of high paced life we live, anxiety, stress, and mood blues are inevitable. When hit by these symptoms of anxiety and stress, we often reach out for a big bucket of chicken wings or fries or even ice-cream to calm our nerves. A big healthy glass of milk is loaded with calcium, proteins, antioxidant and vitamins B2 and B12. It is the most widely used remedy all around the world to help beat insomnia and fidgetiness. Apart from that the proteins, lactium in milk lowers blood pressure causing a calming effect and the potassium in milk helps relieve muscle tension caused by stress.
