Facial Treatments: Wipe Out Facial Discoloration
Beauty and vanity go hand-in-hand; great complexion, glowing skin and a healthy feel make up the ‘model looks’ all of us love so much. But the sun, pollution and dust can hamper your skin. They can change the colour of your skin, making it patchy - a part of the body you cannot hide. We get you out of this misery in just a few steps.
Causes of skin discoloration: You can attribute dark patches of skin to over-exposure to the sun. This is most prevalent among the elderly, but if you are out under the brazen sun you can expect facial skin discolouration.
Melasma is a common skin problem among women with light brown skin who are exposed to the sun for long periods of time. It is also based on your genes.
Hormonal changes during pregnancy can also cause discolouration on the skin.
Acne too can cause dark skin patches of the face.
Remedies for the skin discolouration
A common way women are advised to protect their skin is by wrapping a scarf or stole around their faces.
But you can opt for creams that contain Vitamin E, moisturizer creams that hydrate and nourish the skin, or pregnancy creams that can lighten marks. It is important to understand that in skin care of any kind, prevention is better and more effective than cure. Therefore, use a sunscreen all through the year, hydrate, eat well and exercise for skin that doesn't face discoloration or patchy issues.
