Daily Personal Care Tips for Urological Hygiene
Ask any woman and she will say that men have zero sense of personal hygiene whatsoever. Jokes apart and whether that assumption is true or not, men need to follow a specific hygiene plan to avoid infections, rashes and stones. Today, Dr. Pradeep Rao, Head of Urology with Global Hospitals from Mumbai shares tips on daily personal care to maintain the health and urological hygiene.
Dr. Pradeep Rao says that the most important tip you should follow is to daily wash the penis with soap and water after retracting the foreskin is essential in the uncircumcised male. Failure to do so can lead to infections and other diseases. Poor hygiene of the member can cause infections, inflammations, phimosis and even tumors.
Here is another reason to drink water. Dr. Pradeep the leading urologist with Mumbai based Global Hospitals explains that in our humid and hot climate, it is essential to be well hydrated and have a fluid intake of 2 - 2.5 litres a day to reduce the chance of genitourinary stone formation (this means stones in the kidney and ureter).
The next tip is something men should follow regularly. Urologist, Dr. Pradeep Rao suggests that ejaculation is a great way to maintain urological health. In men between the ages of 20 - 50, regular ejaculation helps maintain sexual health by exercising the prostate gland.
