While you may enjoy getting wet in the rain, your skin surely won't like it. Skin tends to react unstably to the humid and moist monsoon climate. You may notice that on some days it becomes extremely oily and other days it's too dry, making your face look dull. Therefore it is important to give your skin the right treatment to bear with the monsoon climate. Here are a few amazing skincare tips that will help your skin glow even during a downpour.

Monsoon usually causes dirt and pollutants to lodge themselves in your pores. Wash your face at least two to three times a day and especially before you go to bed so that these pollutants don't aggravate your skin.

When you return home after a hectic day, washing your face is sometimes not enough to get all the dirt out. Use a toner if you have dry skin or an astringent is you have oily skin to clean your pores thoroughly.

You may be using a moisturiser during the day but it is also important that you moisturise your face at night too. Your skin naturally repairs itself at night and moisturising will aid it. Regular moisturising before you sleep will also help keep away wrinkles and will ensure that your skin glows.

A good skincare routine should always include exfoliation at least once a week. This will help clear out the dead and dry skin thus keeping your skin supple and glowing.

It is extremely important that you don't skip on your sunscreen even when it is gloomy and dark outside. Even though your skin may not feel the UV rays emitted from the sun, even slight exposure can damage your skin. Remember to use a sunscreen even during monsoon.

Glowing skin is not only a result of external skincare. You must remember to eat healthy vegetables and antioxidant rich fruits to keep your complexion glowing. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout this season.
