Neelanjana Singh explains how to gain weight with the right diet and which food you can include. “Although a majority of the population is working on ways to reduce weight, yet there are quite a few people who are concerned by the failure to gain or maintain healthy weight. This diet plan is meant for them.”
Eating healthy and picking the right food helps you gain weight in a healthy manner, “For those who wish to gain healthy weight, the trick lies in facilitating better absorption of foods. Also, the omega-3 rich foods facilitate this process. Try this plan for 3 months and you should be able to reach close to the desirable weight provided other factors that can cause weight loss are excluded,” says the Neelanjana.
Early morning: Banana milkshake with whey protein supplement
Breakfast: Vanilla Smoothie with Flaxseed powder,
Toast with butter/cheese
Egg in any form/Kidney beans
Mid-morning: Pineapple juice with coconut milk with peanuts
Lunch: Rice/ Barley roti/ Butter roti/ Paratha
Fish/ chicken/ Cottage cheese/ tofu
Lentil salad/ cooked lentil
Starchy vegetable such as potatoes, colocasia
Evening Tea: Milk with protein supplement
Mixed nuts 30gms
Toast with honey/ Idli with coconut chutney
Dinner: Rice/ pasta/Noodles/ any other cereal
Cottage cheese/ Fish/ Chicken/ Soy/ mushrooms
Dessert: ( Jelly/ Ice cream/ Kheer)
Post dinner: Banana or any other seasonal fruits
