Hot Body: Newbie Tanya Mallik Shares her Perfect Body Secrets

 

 

She is  smart and beautiful. Pilot turned model turned actor, Tanya Mallik who will soon be spotted in Sunil Darshan’s next venture ‘Karle Pyaar Karle’ as the parallel lead, tells us what it takes to achieve that perfect body.

 

She not only runs through a rigorous workout in the gym with her personal trainer, but Tanya Mallik practices yoga religiously, starting her day with 50 suryanamaskars & and other asanas. Besides this, she also meditates. 

 

Tanya Mallik, the self-confessed fitness freak exclaims, “Exercise stimulates various brain chemicals, which may leave you feeling happier and more relaxed than if you did not work out. I do it all yoga, gym and necessary dieting because I worship my body.”

Tanya who blends yoga with her gym routine has her basic set of exercises that she performs at home or on the sets during tight schedules. She says, "The 8 minute abs workout tops my list, as it is the most effective and is the fastest way to burn abdominal calories."

She further explains, "working aerobically on your abdominal muscles for over 7 minutes stimulates the capillaries in this area. These in turn increase the blood flow. A greater blood flow means a greater flow of oxygen and fat only burns in the presence of oxygen."

Tanya suggests that this module should be done just three times a week. 

 

Starting her day with 2 glasses of lukewarm lemon water Tanya suggests that lemon helps give a natural glow to one's face, if one has green tea with lemon drops, it works better, as green tea is full of antioxidants, which are 100 times more effective than vitamin C and 24 times better than Vitamin E."

 

Born in Hyderabad and brought up partly in Mumbai and Delhi, Tanya is street smart and she follows her passion; be it flying or modeling & now acting. 

 

With her glowing complexion and stunning features, Tanya goes on to explain her motivation for sticking to her strict regime. “Think about how good you’ll feel when you’re done.”
